Ever wonder where all those “missed connections” on Craigslist are happening? Designer Dorothy Gambrell created this infographic for Psychology Today, which shows the most common places where these romantic encounters happen across the United States. Unsurprisingly, it seems as though Californians typically lock eyes in the gym, while New York residents have their love connections on the subway, with quite a few Walmart states in between.

ever since jawbone released their version two point up band, i have been trying to purchase it. i went to the apple store and would try to purchase the mint colored, size small up fitness band. however, to my disappointment every place was sold out and when i tried to utilize apple’s store pick up, it would say to pick it up in two weeks. -_- i finally walked into an apple store (just for funzies) and spotted one mint green size small up band. i quickly tried on the “size guide” on the outside of the packaging and it seemed to fit me pretty well. (warning: i have a tiny wrist!).
when i tried it on the real thing, it was unfortunately too small for my wrist.
and because there is no real “snap closure,” i imagined the band would only stretch out over time. my other issue was that it did not close flush and it would get caught on my clothes.
unfortunately, i returned the band. i’m looking forward to the fitbit flex that is coming out this spring.
